Kota: Speeding tractor trolley hit motorbike, 2 minor siblings killed


Kota: A hitting collision occurred on Sunday between the motorbike and a speeding tractor trolley close to Naron village under Bakani police station area, Jhalawar. In the mishap two minor siblings were killed whereas their parents sustained injuries.

The angry villagers set the tractor trolley on fire following the mishap, though the tractor driver ran away from the spot.

Circle in charge (CI) of Bakani police station Umesh Mainariya conveyed that, four-member family of Bhawani Singh, a resident of Badai village was coming back home following visiting a relative house in Daver village on motorbike when at about 7 pm, a speeding tractor trolley hit their bike from behind near Naron village.

The CI also conveyed that, the two siblings recognized as Pratigya (7) and Manish (5) were killed on the spot in the incident. The parents recognized as Bhawani Singh and his wife Dwarikabai sustained fractures.

The wounded were instantly rushed to district hospital where they are undergoing treatment. Police registered a case of rash driving next to the tractor trolley driver and attempts are being made to nab the driver.

On Monday morning the bodies of two were handed over to the family members after post-mortem. The CI further added that, by the time fire tenders could douse the trolley fire, the material loaded turn into ashes and the tractor was also damaged.
