Kota: A shocking incident occurred in city on the occasion of World Girl Child Day that a 7-day old girl was threw away by her parents in the jungles close to warehouse on the Jhalawar-Jhalrapatan road on Bakani police station of Jhalawar, Kota.
On hearing the crying of the baby girl, the locals evacuated but she later died as undergoing treatment at the administration hospital in Jhalawar. On Thursday police detained the accused parents and they will be produce in front of court.
Jhalawar additional superintendent of police (ASP) Khushal Singh Rajpurohit also conveyed that on Tuesday evening the minor girl was evacuated from close to a warehouse and was instantly rushed to the nearby administration hospital where she succumbed following around three hours.
Police recognized parents as 38-yr-old Viramlal Regar, a resident of Thobadiya village and wife 35-yr-old Sorambai has been registered under sections 315, 317 and 304 of the IPC. The baby girl was born in the Jhalawar administration hospital on October 4 was thrown away by parents in the jungle.
Police official further conveyed that throughout questioning, the accused parents told that they already had five sons and a daughter. The mother asserted that she had mistakenly conceived baby and failed to perceive the pregnancy as it was too late. She then gave birth to the baby girl on October 4. And because of shame they abandon the child.
