Kota: 70-yr-old woman killed by son


Kota: Late on Tuesday night in Baran a 70-year-old woman was supposedly killed by her son following a clash between the two in Jaipla village near Bapcha police station. After post-mortem the body of the departed was handed to the family members by medical board.

Police filed the case of murder against both the son and are being questioned in police custody. SHO at Bapcha police station Mahendra Singh Devra has also conveyed that, deceased woman recognized as Suraj Bai was killed by her younger son Raju (26) previous night.

SHO further added that a clash was started between the two after which the indicted Raju in anger purportedly hit axe over her head. The indicted instantly ran waay from the spot. Her 40-yr-old elder son Kajod, who was asleep outside the room in the porch found in morning, his mother in the pool of blood but he did not inform police of the occurrence and went to his uncle (Mama) in Uncha village in Bhelwara district.

The SHO Devra further conveyed that, Kajod did not inform his uncle about the incident but instead said that the mother was ill and come to his village accompanied by with his uncle who on arriving home originated the sister’s body in a pool of blood.

Knowing about the occurrence Mama Jamna Lal reached the police station at Bapcha police station and filed a case of murder against his two nephews; Raju (26) and Kajod (40). Police officials further added that, on the report, police have booked the two sons under section 302 of IPC.

The two indicted were arrested and interrogation with them is underway. The departed woman worked as daily wage labor whereas her two sons were jobless and regular drinkers who clash for money with the mother.
