Afterward, Kashyap thrashed out Hsu Jen Hao with 21-13, 21-16 win over. Sourabh Verma lost his initial round with Kenta Nishimoto by 21-18, 13-21, 19-21.
Sameer also crushed Tanongsak Saensomboonsuk by 21-13, 21-23, 21-9. But Prannoy defeated by NG Ka Long Angus with 17-21, 23-21, 14-21. Satwik and Ashwini also lost to Tang Chun Man and Tse Ying Suet by 18-21, 19-21.
