Kiran Bedi says government has put in place all necessary disaster management arrangements


With cyclonic tempest NADA liable to hit Puducherry and Karaikal districts, Lt Governor Kiran Bedi said the administration has set up all vital disaster management arrangements.

Already government has proclaimed a holiday for two days starting today in the two areas as a precautionary measure, she said in a twitter message.

In the mean time Development Commissioner Narendra Kumar held a meeting with authorities of PWD, LAD and different offices worried with help and restoration works.
