The news came to limelight when they were caught by the staff members of five-star hotel at Kovalam through the CCTV footage of the ATM on Tuesday.
Further, their personality was affirmed utilizing the whereabouts as a part of compulsory structures accessible at four lodgings at Thampanoor, power house street, Housing Board and Kovalam where they remained. Two gearless bikes they had enlisted to circumvent the city were seized.
The state police have reached their Maharashtra partners and a test group headed by IG Manoj Abraham has left for South Mumbai. According to sources, the suspects are liable to be captured as there are few odds of them leaving the nation.
In the interim, specialists suspect that the pack has hacked into the database of the bank. CCTV pictures uncovered that skimmers were not set over ATM card spaces to catch card information. Cash was redirected just by introducing a remote camera over the ATM counters to get ATM pin numbers entered by the casualties.
“On Tuesday morning, we again searched the ATM counter that was sealed the previous day. We found another device that probably pried on the communication between the bank and the device. We are figuring out the technology used,” said an official.
