Srinagar: An 18-year-old boy died and another person wounded in a alleged gunfire carried out by security forces on Friday. The stone-pelters were attacked in Beerwah area of Budgam district in Kashmir, police stated.

He affirmed that the soldiers allegedly started firing to scatter the stone-pelters. Due to the firing, two people got wounded in Beerwah area.
The wounded has been found as Tanveer Ahmad Wani. He sustained injuries, on the other hand, another injured had been taken to the hospital, the official stated.
The condition in Beerwah town and adjoining areas is tense after the lynching of the teenage boy, he asserted.
Officials stated that limitations were enforced to keep law and order and in the interest of people and property after a general strike called by separatists, who have also plea to people to protest from their respective areas towards United National Military Observers (UNMO) office at Sonawar for arranging a sit-in following Friday prayers today.
