Kashmir: Two terrorists died in Sopore by security forces


SRINAGAR: Nearly two terrorists died in an encounter that took place in Natipora area of Jammu and Kashmir’s Sopore with security forces.

The reports revealed on Wednesday that four policemen were wounded in a grenade attack. The accused were recognized through CCTV footage. Among two culprits, one of the accused has been detained. They were hiding near the house in Natipora area.

The search operation has been started by the security forces in Natipora area when they were attacked at around 3.30 am on Thursday in gunfire.

As per the police officials, two AK-47 rifles and other arms and ammunition have been found from the spot.

After the death of terrorist Sabzar Ahmed Bhat, the gunfire started on Wednesday in Kashmir’s sopore area. The terrorist was the member of Hizbul Mujahideen Burhan Wani group. The security forces also tried to carry out a major infiltration bid. Around eight terrorists were counteracted in the encounter.
