Kashmir: Two soldiers, two militants died in an encounter


Kashmir: Two militants and two soldiers were died near the LOC in North Kashmir’s Nowgam sector on Saturday when they were trying to penetrate into the Valley.

Officials said, “In the encounter, two army men and two militants were killed. Army said the operation is still under way.”

Four militants were killed on Wednesday in the same sector, army said. Also, one militant have been arrested on the same day. After the initial interrogation, the Pakistani militant was handed over to National Investigative Agency(NIA) at New Delhi.

In an army operation, four foreign militants were killed in the same sector. The operation is still in process.

Army said, “The operation against the infiltrators was launched a few days ago when soldiers had spotted a group of militants near the Line of Control at Tout Mar Gali.

The arrested militant has been identified as Bhadur Ali, a resident of Lahore in Pakistan.” Army spokesman said, “Four militants were killed in the encounter”.
