Kashmir: Terrorists attack CRPF camp in Pulwama district; one jawan dead, two injured


NEW DELHI: At Least one CRPF jawan died and two others wounded in Pulwama district when militants targeted a CRPF Training Centre of J&K in the early hours of Sunday.

As per the reports, the condition of wounded jawans is better now.

In Kashmir, the militants entered the 185th battalion camp of the CRPF in Lethpora village on Sunday morning. The militants attacked by grenades and then started firing.

“There is quite possibility of similar type of attack on other camp also,” reports stated.

The wounded were taken to Srinagar hospital.  After the attack, CRPF, J&K police personnel, 50 Rashtriya Rifles rushed to the spot, authorities stated.

On the other hand, a warrior was died after terrorists targeted a Border Security Force (BSF) camp close to the Srinagar airport in December month.

The speculations are doing round that Jaish special group are responsible for the attack. The December attacks were held after hours of firing by this group. The group was made to requite the death of Parliament attack accused Afzal Guru, who was dangled in year 2013.
