Srinagar: An encounter between security forces and militants took place on Tuesday which killed atleast one soldier and leaving many others wounded. The reports revealed that many terrorist were died while doing attack in Uri. The death toll of soldiers has reached to 18 in two days.
When soldiers tried to enter through Lachipura, around 12-15 terrorists stopped them at the border. Also, a large filtration attempt was blocked.
The encounter will remain continue by the security forces in around 100 km apart in Kashmir. Pakistan Army fired on the Indian post in Uri for about 20 minutes on Tuesday morning.
While, four terrorists entered into a military base, threw grenades and opened fire on Sunday which killed several of army persons. The terrorists, said to be from the Jaish-e-Mohammed whose chief Masood Azhar is based in Pakistan, were killed in an intense three-hour gun-battle.
High alert has been done in forest area of Kashmir. The fresh infiltration attempt was seen as unusually large and a sign of an escalation in terrorist activities at the border.
India has put allegations on Pakistan for the Uri terror attack.
