The matter came to limelight when a teacher Ayaz Ahmad lodged a written complaint ahead the police blaming the lawmaker and his PSOs of attacking him on Monday. Later, the cops right away filed a case of attempt to murder under section 307 Ranbir Penal Code and other sections of law.

“Complaint has been filed (against MLA and his PSOs). Nobody has been detained as yet. Probe has been taken up,” Yougal Manhas, senior superintendent of police, Rajouri stated.

“He has sustained injuries in the attack. He was moved to the hospital to undergo treatment. He is a teacher by profession and has nothing to do with politics. But he was attacked by the MLA and his PSOs,” a friend of Ayaz stated.

Police stated they are examining the nature of injuries suffered by the plaintiff. “There is no fact in the charges that we attacked anybody. Indeed, it was us that came under the assault,” disproved Rajouri.
