Kashmir: Pakistan contravenes ceasefire along LoC, Two Pak soldiers dead in attack by Indian Army


Jammu: Nearly Two Pakistani soldiers died in violent revenge by Indian army as Pakistan Army on Wednesday conducted truce thrice along the Line of Control (LoC) in Rajouri and Poonch districts of J&K.

The Pakistan Army continued to carry out shelling and firing along the forward posts and civilians areas in Jammu and Kashmir.

In past four days, 10 ceasefire violations were held in Jammu and Kashmir. Since January 1, nearly 14 ceasefire violations were carried out along the LoC and the International Border in Jammu region. In the violation, one civilian lost their live and seven others were wounded.

On Tuesday, the terrorists engineered seven grenade attacks and firing in Kashmir that left 14 policemen wounded. As per the reports, four rifles were taken by terrorists later on.

Indian army took strong revenge on Wednesday that led to killing of 2 Pakistani soldiers in Bhimbher Gali sector.

“Pakistan Army initiated indiscriminate firing of mortars, small arms, automatics RPG, Recoilless Rifles from 6.40 pm in Naushera sector along the LoC in Rajouri district on Wednesday,” Defence Spokesman Lt. Col. Manish Mehta stated.

Ahead of the third ceasefire violation on Wednesday, the Pakistan Army starts arbitrary gunfire in Naushera sector along the LoC in Rajouri district.

Indian troops are taking brawny revenge and the firing in Jammu is on, he said.

Few days back, Pakistan performed arbitrary firing from 5.00 am to 5.45 am in Bhimbher Gali sector in Poonch along the LoC, he added.

On June 12, about 3 ceasefire violation were held in Jammu and Kashmir.
