Kashmir: At least two militants dead in violence with security forces in Pulwama


Kashmir: In Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir, 2 militants killed in an encounter with the safety forces early on Tuesday morning and suspected that, top Lashkar-e-Toiba’s (LeT) leader Abu Dojana is amongst the two killed.

Security Officials to verify their identity. Leader Dojana has fugitive five times former. Reports further stated that two-three LeT terrorist are believed to be trapped and killed.

The police officials further conveyed that, acting on precise intelligence input concerning the presence of terrorist in Hakripora village of Pulwama, safety forces introduced a cordon and haunt in the area.

Militants commenced fire during the operation, prompting reprisal from the security forces which activated firing. The encounter is ongoing.

On Tuesday morning in Hakripora village at 4: 30 a.m., specific input, joint cordon and search operations (CASO) was introduced by 182 Battalion, 183 Battalion, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), 55 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) and Special Operations Group (SOG).
