Kashmir: The militant attack was held in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir on the vehicle of security forces on Thursday morning. Nearly five CRPF personnel got wounded in the terrorist attack on Wednesday.
Terrorists started shooting on the vehicle of the 96 Battalion CRPF in Anantnag district in the morning.
The cops affirmed that three CRPF jawans sustained bullet injuries whereas two others were wounded following getting strike by broken glass panes of the vehicle.
He added that the wounded security forces have been moved to hospital for treatment. The investigation is in process to look out the attackers.
During the attack, two paramilitary troopers got wounded when terrorists carried out gunfire at a group of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) on Thursday at 8:30am in Anantnag district of south Kashmir.
The incident took place at Lazibal area of Anantnag on Thursday.
“A convoy of the 96th Battalion of the CRPF with six buses was on its way back to Mattan, when it was attacked by militants. The attack was repulsed by the personnel. Two jawans suffered minor injuries in the attack and the militants escaped,” a senior police officer in Anantnag stated.
