Kashmir: Encounter In Pulwama, 3-4 Terrorists Still Hiding In House


NEW DELHI: An encounter took place between security forces and Hizbul Mujahideen militants in south Kashmir’s Padgampora area of Pulwama district on Thursday.

The search operation has started by the CRPF and Special Operation Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir in the area.  At Least two-three militants of the group are still hiding in the area. The army was employed on Thursday to perform combing operations.

In the last four days, the incident is the second major encounter in the area. Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist Aqib Maulvi was died along with a Pakistan based Jaish-e-Mohammed militant Osama last week in Pulwama district of Kashmir.

In the encounter, a policeman also lost his life and three security personnel wounded on Saturday that lasted for over 24 hours.

On Thursday, the ISIS terrorist was killed in the gunbattle that lasted for 12-hour in Lucknow.

The reports revealed that Home Minister Rajnath Singh is all set to make a statement in parliament today about the ISIS terrorist and the anti-terror operation.
