Kashmir: Police officials conveyed that, on Thursday in south Kashmir two militants were killed in an encounter with security forces in Kulgam district.
Police further added that, one of the killed terrorist was involved in an assault on a bank cash van on 1st May this year in which two bank guards and five policemen were killed.
The violence occurred days following Lashkar-e-Taiba chief commander Abu Dujana, with one other, Arif Bhat, dead in a violence with security forces on Tuesday. His death was considered victory by forces as he was one of the well-known commanders in south Kashmir.
The Northern Command of the Indian Army conveyed on Twitter that security forces have recovered weapons from the spot of violence.
