Karachi: TV station attacked by MQM workers for not providing media coverage


ISLAMABAD: On Monday one killed and a few others injured as savage activists as far as anyone knows having a place with the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) party squalled the workplace of a private news channel, ARY News, in the southern port city of Karachi for not giving the gathering “due media scope”.

“Furnished laborers of the political party grabbed guns from security monitors, began mishandling and tormenting channel specialists, stole and harmed property in a scene which proceeded for 60 minutes,” the channel said, including that several its specialists including ladies were held prisoner for 60 minutes. Police said MQM laborers pelted stones at police and ARY office, adding that they additionally turned to ethereal terminating outside the workplace.

Naming it an intrigue against the MQM, a senior gathering official, Syed Ali Raza Abidi, said, “MQM has been dissenting subsequent to recent years peacefully. Remorsefully, veiled men at Fawara Chowk made these lamentable scenes.” In a brief moment tweet, Abidi said, “Separate yourself from savage hordes sent for a reason!” Wasay Jalil, another MQM official, asserted that individuals were dissenting calmly at ARY office against one-sided media scope when abruptly police began terminating on serene dissidents.

A private TV station reported, “Police turned to shelling to scatter the irate horde and shot elastic projectiles, harming the dissidents.” “No less than one individual was conveyed dead to healing facility while a few others were harmed,” Dr Seemin Jamali, head of crisis at Jinnah Post-Graduate Medical Center told columnists.

Television slots reported that MQM dissenters hurried to ARY office taking after feedback of neighborhood TV stations in a telephonic location by gathering boss, Altaf Hussain, who lives estranged abroad in London, to his gathering laborers.
