Kabul: Nearly 23 people lost their lives and over dozen injured in several suicide bombings on Saturday in Afghanistan.
Taliban terrorists entered in an army base in the western zone of Farah and attacked nearly 18 armed forces.
“On Saturday, a big group of terrorists targeted an army base in Bala Buluk district of Farah. Unluckily, we lost 18 soldiers, two armed forces were injured. We have given more support to the area,” defence ministry spokesman Daulat Wazir wrote.
As per Deputy provincial governor Younus Rasooli, “The officials had sent a fact-finding group to Bala Buluk to probe the attack.”
Deputy interior ministry spokesman Nasrat Rahimi stated, “In another assault, a suicide attacker set off his explosives close to the diplomatic area of Kabul on Sunday morning taking the lives of nearly three people and injuring five others.”
