New Delhi: India’s Head Coach, Anil Kumble, was seen bowling in the nets with the Indian cricket team ahead of India’s next tour game against West Indies Cricket Board President XI.
Indian batting’s performance against spin, especially overseas, has not been up to the mark in the last couple of years. The former India captain and legspinner, who has a magnificent record in the West Indies, bowled to prepare Indian batsmen better.
The BCCI shared a video on its Twitter handle in which Kumble, who is also known as 'Jumbo', was seen bowling during a training session.The first Test of the series begins July 21 in Antigua. It will be Kumble's first assignment as the chief coach of the team and Virat Kohli's first tour of the Caribbean as Test captain.
