JP Dutta released first look poster of ‘Paltan’


Veteran director JP Dutt who is famous for his film ‘Border’, has released the first look of war movie ‘Paltan’. He is prepared for his upcoming film that will showcase another period of Indian history.

“It’s time to tell a new story, to tell another part of history of our country and salute more real life heroes! I present ‘Paltan’. A film and a subject very close to my heart and I’m extremely excited about it,” Dutta, who last directed the 2006 film ‘Umrao Jaan’, he stated.

Paltan’s first look revealed shadow of army men walking a rough path. The poster has a tagline, ‘Brother to my right. Brother to my left. Together we stand. Together we fight.’

The poster also showcases several dog tags that includes name of officers adorned on them at the top of the poster. The director has not revealed that casting of upcoming drama.

As per the source, ‘Paltan’ will boast of an exciting ensemble star cast.”

“There are even rumours (that makers) to have actual army men in the film,” source added.

The film is produced by JP Films and directed by Dutta. It is slated to hit the theatres in 2018.
