New Delhi: Indian squash player Joshna Chinappa climbed two spots to be at the 10th spot, while Dipika Pallikal retained her 19th spot in the latest Professional Squash Association rankings announced on Sunday.
Chinappa, who had slipped to 12th after initially breaking into top 10 in July, has regained the position even as Pallikal held on to her 19th position.
In the men’s rankings, Saurav Ghosal dropped to 21st from his previous perch of 17th. Mahesh Mangaonkar gained a position to be on 60th, while Vikram Malhotra remained 73rd.
Harinder Pal Sandhu improved to 79th. In the women’s section, Sachika Ingale slipped to 84.
Chinappa and Ghosal had bowed out in the quarterfinal stage at the USD 100,000 China Open, a PSA World Tour event.
