Jodhpur: Student hangs self to death from ceiling fan

A B.Tech student of a private engineering college here committed suicide on Tuesday night by hanging herself from the roof fan. She had a place with Chittorgarh and had been living as a paying guest in a house in Sardarpura since 2015. The expired has not left any suicide take note.

As indicated by Sardarpura police, Pratishtha Bhatt (22) had been seeking after her B. Tech from a private enginnering college of the city. “On Wednesday morning, when she didn’t open the gate of her room till late, the landowner thumped the entryway and on not accepting any answer, he looked through the window and discovered her hanging from the ceiling fan of her room,” police said.

He informed the police who tore open the entryway. Police got off the body from the fan and sent to the morgue.

Police informed  the family of girl who arrived in Jodhpur by evening. After posthumous, the police gave over the body to the relatives for the last ceremonies.

However, police looked her room yet did not discover any suicide note, consequently making it troublesome for the police to find out the reason for the suicide.

In the interim, the police have begun the examination in the matter and scrutinizing the family of landowner, neighbors and her classmates.
