Jawahar Lal Nehru University, which has been at focal point of debates in recent months, has chosen to take a shot at the varsity’s image and organize an open day “Jan JNU” for school youngsters to educate them about the college’s commitment to different fields.
The varsity has been hoarding spotlight for negative reasons including a diary calling the varsity lair of against nationals and three of its understudies being captured for subversion regarding an occasion on grounds amid which hostile to national mottos were supposedly raised.
The open day will be hung on November 21 and schools will be required to enroll for the occasion through the site which will be dispatched for the occasion.
JNU Vice Chancellor Jagadesh Kumar took to Twitter to report the project.
“The college has made remarkable commitments to the general public both in humanities and sciences through its eminent academicians and analysts. It might want to highlight and impart its accomplishments to open,” an idea note for the project said.
“The essential target of the occasion is to showcase JNU’s commitments to class kids which can serve as a motivation for completing their vocation as future specialists, academicians and motors of social change,” it included.
While a show will be set up for the guests however they will be permitted to visit different scholarly and exploration units.
“Every scholarly unit will showcase their exercises by setting up slows down and notices. A JNU motion picture will likewise be screened for guest,” the note said.
