JLR unveiled Range Rover Velar, price 1.38 Rs

Japanese automaker Company Nissan Jaguar Land Rover, owned by Tata Motors unveiled a new SUV model of Range Rover Velar in India. The car has a price tag between Rs 78.83 lakh and Rs 1.38 crore in Delhi showrooms. The sale of car will begin in January next year.

The new model of velar will be available with three engine options (2 liter petrol engine, 2 liter diesel engine and 3 liters diesel). Price of petrol and diesel variant 2 liter engine variant price is between 78.83 lakh and 91.86 lakh rupees. On the other hand, 3 liter diesel variant costs between 1.1 to 1.38 crores.

During January-September period this year, JLR sales increased 45 percent as compared to last year. As per company, Nissan wants to compete with Google Vamo and Tesla in the electric car sector.

The reports are also doing round that Nissan will also unveil its driver cars by 2022. The testing of this car will get start in Japan from March next year. Nissan is also preparing two new Leaf Electric cars, which include sensors and cameras.
