JKLF chairman Yasin Malik arrested in Kashmir


SRINAGAR: Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front, JKLF chairman Mohammad Yasin Malik has been arrested by the security forces in south Kashmir’s Shopian district following anxiety of violation of peace in the valley.

As per the reports, the security forces detained Malik, Noor Muhammad Kalwal, the zonal president of his outfit at Reban in Shopian on Sunday.

A JKLF spokesman, while criticizing their imprisonment, asserted the outfit’s chief went to Reban to meet the kins of captive leader Sarjan Barkati.

The spokesman stated the both of them have been taken to some unknown place.
