Terrorists gunned down at least two policemen on Sunday in two different attacks close to the Chrar-e-Shareef shrine and other in the outer of Hurriyat leader house in Kashmir, reports stated.
The militants stated gunfire upon a cops post close to the holy place of Sufi saint Sheikh Noor-ud-Din Noorani in Kashmir’s Budgam district.
As per the reports, Constable Kultar Singh sustained wounds during the attack on Sunday. He was immediately taken to the nearby hospital to undergo treatment. On the other hand, Constable Farooq Ahmed lost his lives when terrorists targeted a police post made in the outer of Hurriyat leader Fazal Haq Qureshi home in Srinagar’s Soura area. The hurriyat leader was wounded in a militant attack in the month of December nine years back.
The officials reported that Soura area has been seized and investigation is on to nab the attackers. Jammu and Kashmir DGP SP Vaid articulated his pain at the death of two cops.
