J&K: Pakistan contravenes ceasefire again, heavy gunfire in Poonch


Pakistan Army carried out the second truce on Monday morning in only 48 hours along the Line of Control (LoC) in Krishna Ghati area of J&K’s Poonch district.

The reports revealed that the ceasefire was held by Pakistan Army at 6:20 AM on Monday morning in Krishna Ghati sector. It added that the army used several weapons and 12o mm mortars to attack the Indian troops.

Currently, Indian Army are responding to the heavy gunfire carried out by Pakistan and the area has been seized.

In just 3 days, Pakistan Army carried out ceasefire for the 6th time. No casualty has been reported yet.

On Sunday, Pakistan army performed gunfire on Indian positions on the international border in J&K’s Samba district. As per the officials, Pakistan troops sullied the LoC ceasefire in Rajouri district.

Border Security Force (BSF) sources stated Pakistan army continued shelling and firing in Ramgarh sector.

“Pakistan Rangers violated ceasefire without any provocation when BSF troopers were busy with ground clearance. They used small arms, automatics and mortars. BSF troopers retaliated effectively.”
