JK: Firearm Shots Heard From Government Building in Pampore


Security forces and a group of terrorists opened up firing at an administration expanding on the edges of Srinagar. The building was assaulted by psychological militants before in February this year.

According to reports, a group of terrorists assaulted the police party which was sent at the building. The zone has been cordoned off and seek operations are at present in progress.

A building inside the premises of the head office of Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI) in Sempora range of Pampore on the edges of the city burst into flames this morning, a police official said.

He said reason for the fire was not yet known.

Be that as it may, an armed force official said not long after the shoot, a gunshot was heard from inside the premises of JKEDI.

Fire tenders have been hurried to the spot, yet they are not being permitted to enter the working because of security reasons, the authority said. No causalties have been accounted for in the attack so far.

An experience amongst aggressors and security powers occurred in the premises in February this year which went on for over 48 hours.
