JIND: A lady on Monday gave birth in a three-wheeler purportedly after no emergency vehicle arrived at her home to take her to hospital regardless of making calls to “102” rescue vehicle helpline number.
Renu Saket and husband Bihari Lal Saket, both residents of town Chend in Madhya Pradesh and working in Jind at a hatchery, claimed they called up ambulance helpline number ‘102’ twice when she developed labour pain, but they got only assurances that the ambulance will reach in sometime.
When the ambulance failed to reach their place for over two hours, Bihari Lal claimed he decided to take his wife to hospital in a three-wheeler.In any case, when they were around three-km far from the hospital , Renu brought gave bith in the vehicle. After which they two were taken to hospital and being treated
In the interim, responsible for the rescue vehicle Dr Rajesh Bhola said a probe will directed into the incident and basic action will be made against those discovered liable
