Jayalalithaa is fine and recovering says MDMK chief Vaiko

Chennai: Despite that Apollo Hospital in Chennai, where Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and AIADMK chief J Jayalalithaa is admitted, released a detailed health bulletin about her ongoing medical treatment, the confusion regarding her health status still intact.

Our target to seal India-Pakistan border by 2018, says Rajnath Singh

MDMK chief Vaiko, on Saturday visited the Chennai's Apollo hospital to enquire about Jayalalithaa's health. "She is fine and recovering. She has fought for rights of Tamils in Cauvery issue and won it," Vaiko said , thus assuring people that Amma is responding positively to her health treatment.

Several rumours started doing the rounds that the 68-year-old CM would be moved abroad for treatment; that she was under ventilator and more. The leaders of AIADMK have been trying to control speculations about her health, but have failed in doing so. It has been two weeks since Jayalalithaa was admitted to the hospital on September 22 following complaints of fever and dehydration.

Apollo Hospitals authorities have been regularly giving Jayalalithaa's health update through bulletins, claiming that she is recovering well, but her supporters and public seemed to want to know more about her health status.
