Jammu: Pakistan national arrested by BSF near Indo-Pak border in Arnia sectorr


Jammu: Border Security Force (BSF) arrested a Pakistan national on Monday night after he crossed the International Border and entered the Arnia sub-sector of RS Pura sector in Jammu district. The person is currently being grilled by the BSF authorities.

No official announcement regarding the identity of the person has yet been given by the authorities. The statement of the BSF officials as well as police is still awaited. The incident comes in the wake of the Valley boiling over the Hizbul Mujahideen commander Burhan Wani's encounter followed by mass protests that claimed around 40 lives.

The situation further worsened with the reported 'media gag' that further sent the valley into an isolation. Earlier on Saturday, three militants were killed as the Army foiled an infiltration bid in Poonch.
