Jammu: Pakistan Army carry out ceasefire in Rajouri district


JAMMU: Pakistan army carried out ceasefire by firing on Monday on the Indian posts in Jammu and Kashmir along the Line of Control in Rajouri district.

“The clashes began when Pakistani army conducted violence along the LoC in Baba Khori belt of Naushera sector of Rajouri district at 22:30pm on Saturday by utilizing light weapons and MMGs (medium machine guns) “, deputy commissioner, Rajouri, Shahid Iqban Choudhary asserted.

Till now, about 23 incidents of ceasefire violations have been noted down in Kashmir. In the month of June, one BAT attack and two infiltration bids were carried out by Pakistan army that takes the lives of 4 persons, 3 jawans, and wounding 12 others.
