Jammu: Nearly three people killed and six others wounded in a fire that broke out in the slums of Jammu’s Narwal area on Saturday. The reports revealed that more than 150 "Jhuggis" have been broken in fire.
Many fire engines reached to the spot to douse the flames, police said.
Ramesh Gupta, superintendent of medical college hospital Jammu said, “Three charred bodies were brought to the mortuary of the hospital during the night while six persons suffering critical burn injuries were being treated.”
The fire started at 12 am in the ghettos where many groups of Rohingya Muslims who were removed from Myanmar in light of oppression, have taken haven.
Other than these Rohingya Muslims, many different groups of ghetto inhabitants were likewise living in the more than 150 "Jhuggis" those were finished decimated in the burst.
