Kashmir: A BSF constable lost his lives in firing and mortar shelling by Pakistani army along the International Border in Arnia and neighboring R S Pura sectors close to Jammu on Friday morning.
As per the sources, the violence started at around 1.10 am when Pakistani firing abruptly broke an peculiar hush along the border in Arnia sector. They targeted three BSF outposts including S M Base, Nikkowal and Budwar.
The dead constable recognized as Bajinder Bahadur of Uttar Pradesh. The reports revealed that he used to handle Border Out Post (BOP) Chenaz. He sustained injuries during the attack. Later, he was taken to the hospital to undergo treatment.
Terror exploded in close villages after gunfire held from across the border close to suburban areas. A firing occurred at the residence of a Kesar Ram at Devigarh, partly destroying the structure. But, no one got wounded or lost life. The sacking soon extended to R S Pura sector when Pakistani army carried out two gunshots at BSF outposts including Jugnuvhak and Jai Kishan.
Since four months, Pakistan have been carrying out firing along the border nearly daily. About a dozen people lost their lies involving Army and BSF personnel. About 4,000 people shifted from their resident places following such issues in the area.
On Wednesday, two BSF forces wounded in firing at several areas along the Line of Control in Poonch district. On September 7, two doorkeepers wounded in Pakistani gunfire in Poonch sector.
