Jaish-e-Mohammad’s 12 suspects were arrested; Heavy explosives recovered


Delhi Police's Special Cell has foiled a major terror plot. 12 suspects of Jaish-e-Mohammed were arrested by the special cell on Wednesday morning. 8 people were arrested from Delhi while the remaining was picked up from Deoband. All the suspects are the member of sleeper cell.

According to information, these 12 suspected terrorists have relations with the militant group Jaish-e-Mohammed. Special Cell had received information on the presence of militants.

The police raided militants from Delhi, NCR region and Deoband in Uttar Pradesh. They recovered a large quantity of explosives and other devices. Improvised explosive device has also been recovered from the suspects.

A month ago, Delhi Police’s Special Cell has the intelligence input that the Jasih-e-Mohammad terror suspects have entered the NCR and neighboring states. The Special Cell of Delhi Police conducted raids at several places a total of 12 suspects were detained. According to police, these terrorists were planning to commit a major terrorist attack in Delhi.  Special cell is now interrogating the 12 suspects.
