Jaipur: Boy traps girl online with the promise of ‘marriage’, tries to sale her

A Jaipur girl’s love trap with a Delhi youth on Facebook took a surprising turn. The 22-year-old conveyed her to the Delhi with a promise to marry her and secured her up in a hotel room. The denounced, Imraan, was later detained on the charge of grabbing and the girl was protected by the crime branch from Mahipalpur.

Police said the youth was wanting to pitch her to traffickers. They are examining on the off chance that she was sexually struck or not.

“Imraan had a Facebook account with a fake name and sent a friend request to the casualty. A couple of months after she accepted his friend request, he requested that the girl come to Delhi to meet him. He would like to meet her & his family might want to meet her that they could make their relationship official,” said G Ram Gopal Naik, DCP (crime).

When she left home without informing her family, the latter filed a missing complaint in Jaipur. On March 16, a team of Rajasthan Police looked for assistance from their Delhi partners to follow her. A serious search operation was led in Gari, Mahipalpur and Vasant Kunj and the denounced was at long last captured from Mahipalpur.

The casualty had arrived in Delhi from Jaipur on March 14 after her communication with the denounced on Facebook and WhatsApp, said the officer.

During the inquiry, it was uncovered that she was compelled to remain in a rented house at Mahipalpur.

“At the point when the casualty came to know the real nature of Imraan, she opposed and declined to live with him. Be that as it may, she was beaten up and her mobile phone was snatched by Imraan,” said the officer.
