Jaipur: Head-on collision occurred between truck and van, 3 killed


Jaipur: A head-on collision occurred between a truck and van near Kishangarh area on Thursday morning. In the mishap three men of a family were killed and five others were critically wounded. When the family was coming back to their village from Tejaji templeĀ of Hanumangarh, suddenly their vehicle collided with truck.

Police officials further conveyed that the mishap occurred close to Kishangarh as the family was returning to Bhilwara following prayers at Tejaji temple.

A senior police officer of Gandhi Nagar police station in Kishangarh also further conveyed that a huge blast like sound heard by the locals of the area. They then immediately rushed to the spot to evacuate them and also informed Police.

After the collision the deceased bodies were stuck inside van. Police officials then with metal cutters recovered the dead bodies. All the wounded were hurried to Ajmer’s administration hospital. All sustained multiple grievance counting fractures and head injuries.

Police officials further added that the dead bodies were sent for post-mortem at Ajmer’s administration hospital and their other family members were informed about the incident. The truck driver and helper ran away from the spot.
