JAIPUR: Near the boundary wall of a farm house situated in Phagi on the city outskirts a 35-year-old gem-dealer was found murdered. Police are yet to give a conclusion behind the murder. They are probing every aspect related to the case.
According to the police, the deceased identified as Dilip Soni left his house situated at Kartarpura locality in the city at 2.30 pm on Sunday after he had received a phone call. The family did not find any reason to suspect as Soni was a jeweller and he used to travel to various places for business deals.
Be that as it may, on Monday morning, the family got an impolite stun when Phagi police subsequent to distinguishing the perished insinuated the family about the murder. Despite the fact that he did not return home on Sun day evening, his family did not approach the police to file a missing report. They thought that he might have gone out of the city for some business purpose,” said Aamir Hasan, station house officer, Phagi police headquarters on Monday.
On Monday a few passer by recognized the mangled body and implied the police. Po lice said that they were yet to discover the purpose for the merciless murder of the de stopped. “There could be many reasons varying from some business rivalry, murder for gain to some family dispute.
We will wait for the post-mortem report and also scan his telephone call details to get closer to the case. As he was hit by a sharp-edged weapon there could be some animosi ty or rivalry angle involved in this case,” Hasan included.
Police have enrolled an instance of murder under Section 302 (murder) of IPC and have given over the body to the family after posthumous.
