District collector Siddharth Mahajan stated that 10 municipalities in Jaipur district has become Open Defecation Free. Earlier, 91 Ward of Jaipur district was declared ODF.

He informed that under the Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban), Jaipur district was declared the first ODF in 33 districts of the state due to extensive efforts and effective supervision of ODF to all the wards of Municipal Corporation and Municipal Corporation area in Jaipur district. is.

Mahajan said that along with 235 of all municipalities in Jaipur district and 91 wards of municipal corporation, the all the 326 wards of the urban area have now become ODF. He said that 25 municipalities of Shahpura, 20 of Viratnagar, 30 in Kotputli, 25 of Bagoda and 20 wards of Phulera have been declared ODF. Similarly, 20 municipalities of Sambhar, 25 of Kishangarh Renal, 15 in Jobner, 30 in Chomu and 25 wards of Chaksu municipality are now ODF.
