Jaipur: Attendants thrashed doctor after patient’s death due to carlessness


JAIPUR: A doctor was thrashed by attendants of a private hospital after a patient died in his hospital due to carelessness in the action on Friday.

Ajay Bansal is a doctor at Sawai Man Singh Hospital’s Institute of Traumatology and Orthopaedics, where he does treatment of victims.

“An FIR has been lodged by one Virendra Singh, son of Ratan Lal Saini, who died in a private hospital at Imli Phatak. He alleged carelessness of doctors in providing treatment to the patient,” Jyoti Nagar police stated.

The police stated that victim Saini (55) was going through heart problem from May 17.

After the incident, the attendants striked outside the hospital and also jammed the road at Imli Phatak. Later, police officials reached to the area to overlook the situation.

No FIR had been filed yet against the doctor.
