Jaipur: 34-yr-old man shot dead


Jaipur: A 34-yr-old man shot dead on Friday near Pratap Nagar under Sanganer Sadar police station.  At around 2 am, the mishap occurred when Gaurav Singh (Goldy), was sitting in a tea stall in Pratap Nagar. As Singh was sitting and chatting with friends over a cup of tea, one Kulwinder Gurjar (Kallu) reached with his friends and afterwards commenced firing at Singh after a clash and verbal exchange.

Gaurav Singh lay profusely bleeding and Kallu ran away from the spot. Singh was immediately rushed to the nearby hospital and the Sanganer Sadar police station was informed about the incident. Police officials arrived at the spot and sealed the crime scene.

A senior police official conveyed that, Goldy live in Shyam Nagar area and had many businesses. We have learned of his criminal background, counting cases of attack. He sleeted from Bharatpur district. Police also learned that Gurjar also was a resident of Bharatpur district. Both Gurjar and Gaurav Singh former worked together in some loan recovery business which yet to be ascertained.

Police further added that, we have also originated that indicted ran away with other in three cars, all suspected to be SUVs and accused was in inebriated condition and nursing a revenge for a long time. Police further suspected that as both the victim and the indicted concerned in several financial dealings, it is likely that they had personal hostility.
