Jaipur: A shocking incident occurred on Friday morning in Jaipur as a 25-yr-old liquor salesman found assassinate in his rented room close to Khatipura area. Police officials recognized the deceased as Shambhu Nath, a resident of Motihari in Bihar, who has been operated as salesman at alcohol shop and has currently visited city to financially support his family in Bihar.
Vaishali Nagar police station house officer Bhopal Singh Bhatti also conveyed that Nath was assaulted with a sharp weapon as he was sleeping. The initial investigation revealed that someone had assaulted him with a sharp weapon on chest and on head. Police found deep grievance on victim’s head, face and other parts of body which recommend that someone assaulted him many times.
Police official further conveyed that he lived at a rented house. There are many others rooms in the house, and suspected that he was stabbed on Thursday night and was recovered on Friday. The forensic squad reached the spot to search for some clues.
Police collected samples from his room and sent it for the inspection. Police questioned some other tenants of the house that if they spotted some stranger around. Police officials conveyed that it was suspected that he might be killed by someone who knew him and further added that they informed their parents and other family members in Bihar about the incident.
His body been kept at mortuary, once the family reaches, and will send the body for the post mortem. The CCTV footage of the area along with the call details record (CDR) of Shambhu Nath are being examined to determine his murderer.
