Jaipur: 19-yr-old girl kills self, no suicide note recovered


Jaipur: A 19-year-old girl kills self on Tuesday afternoon by hanging with the ceiling fan of her room in their Ramanagar house. She was immediately rushed to the Hospital when her father and grandmother found her hanging from the ceiling fan.

The departed recognized as Inderjeet Kaur by Sodala police station, a student of B.Sc second year. Ajay Singh, head constable and investigation officer of the case also conveyed that at the time of incident, she was alone in her house as her parents and grandmother was out. And at around 2 pm she committed suicide by hanging self.

Around 3 PM when Kaur’s father returned back he found her room locked from inside. Police officials conveyed that, father called on her mobile number several times but he got no response from inside. Then he unlocks the room door and was shocked when they found her body hanging from the ceiling fan.

Then she was immediately rushed to hospital where doctors affirmed her bought dead. Police further added that Kaur used one of her scarf as a rope to kill self. Police did not found any suicide letter and that reason behind her suicide couldn’t be ascertained.

Singh further conveyed that, she was a college student and prima facie evidence recommends that she had returned from somewhere following she ended her life. We could not quiz her parents as they were devastated by their daughter’s death. The police handed over the body of the dead following the post-mortem.
