Jaipur: 16-year-old girl gangraped by four


JAIPUR: A 16-year-old girl was supposedly gang raped by four persons under Shipra Path police station area. The girl was beaten up when she opposed. According to Mukesh Chaudhary, SHO, Shipra Path police station, the incident came to light when the girl came to the police station along with her parents and described the entire occurrence.

 Mukesh Chaudhary has also conveyed that, she had come to the city from West Bengal to work as a domestic help. A few days before, a woman took her to a house to get her work. There she was raped by four indicted.

The victims conveyed police that indicted were heavily drunk and tried to burn her with cigarettes when she opposed. Police officials have also further conveyed that, on Monday the girl was sent for the medical test. We have filed a case next to the four under pertinent sections of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO) Act and 376 (gang rape).

 The police has also further conveyed adding that the girl was unconscious and thus, incapable to recognize the four people. Police officials have said that, the matter is under examination, we have zero in on the indicted.

Keeping in mind the seriousness of the situation, we have asked the entire police station to gather information about accused. The police added that girl was in deep distress and extremely afraid as accused had also tried to harm her. Police officials said that, her condition is usual and we have evidenced her statements, a probe has been launched to trace the indicted.
