Silver Medallist PV Sindhu wins China Super Series premier title against China’s Sun Yu on Sunday. After winning the match on Sunday, Sindhu said, “She was left speechless with emotions as she has finally realised a long-time dream.”
Sindhu scored 21-11, 17-21, 21-11 in all the three sets of the match against China’s Sun Yu and became the second woman to clinch China Super Series premier title.
"It has been a fantasy for quite a while to win a super arrangement. After the Olympics, everybody was asking me whats next? It was essential for me to get a super arrangement title. Life changed a considerable measure after the Olympics. Individuals thought I will set aside a long opportunity to get back. Yet, I buckled down," Sindhu said.
"This is my first super arrangement title and I am exceptionally upbeat, I have no words to express. Last time I played Denmark last," she included.
When asked her about the match, Sindhu said,"I played well. It is an extraordinary day for me. I just thought i can put forth a valiant effort, since I rehearsed hard. I was very sure. From the first round it was extreme."
"The principal amusement was simple. I am playing her following over two years, she is likewise tall like me and we both are assaulting players. I lost the second diversion and in the third I began well and from 11-7, I kept up the lead." She included.
Earlier, in 2014 Saina Nehwal wins the match and became the first Indian woman to clinch the China Open Super Series title.
“I did what Saina did in 2014 and I am very happy.” She said.
