Islamic State selling sex slaves on online

New Delhi : The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant is reportedly selling its sex slaves online in a bid to raise funds. Members of the ISIS terror group are selling their sex slaves via social media. The Washington Post reports that militants are using Facebook to post photos of girls as young as 18.

Facebook is scrambling to take down the photos and the “offers” attached to them. The Post says this is the cash-strapped terror group’s attempt to raise more money for its activities. “To all the bros thinking about buying a slave, this one is $8,000,” reads one of the posts from May 20, quoted by the Post. The report has attributed the message to an Islamic State fighter who calls himself Abu Assad Almani.

ISIS is suffering an extreme cash shortage due to several military losses. Their supplies have dwindled and fighters are now being forced to raise capital for guns and medicine. Experts say selling of slaves will boost personal cash reserves.
