New Delhi: Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has held hands with the State Bank of India to chalk out a nitty gritty arrangement for advancement of rail ticketing exercises, including web ticketing and open ticketing framework.
IRCTC, a PSU of Railways which handles cooking, tourism and Internet ticketing exercises, and the SBI have marked a MoU which will likewise attempt improvement of Unreserved Ticketing System and such different administrations which can be mutually embraced.
We will mutually investigate ranges of collaboration and draw up a nitty gritty arrangement for advancement of rail ticketing exercises, said a senior IRCTC official.
Furthermore, both will offer administrations mutually, subject to monetary practicality.
"Both sides are envious of cooperating to give enhanced Internet ticketing administrations to the clients of Indian Railways in the field of Unreserved Ticketing System (UTS) and Internet-based e-ticketing framework," the MoU said.
The MoU was marked by IRCTC CMD A K Manocha and Arundhati Bhattacharya, CMD, SBI on July 18.
The MoU additionally imagines for undertaking exercises which can give quality to clients and realize cooperative energy in working of both the associations.
