Infosys Techie, Son, Die In US, Crowd-Funding To Send Bodies Home


A software engineer from Andhra Pradesh, who was working for Infosys, and his three-year-old child have drowned in a swimming pool in the US, as per news reports. Nagaraju Surepalli, 31, was from Guntur. He worked and lived in Michigan with his wife and youthful child. His body was found alongside his child’s on Tuesday in the swimming pool at the flat building where the family lived.
“A couple who strolled into the clubhouse saw the dead bodies coasting on the pool and informed police,” revealed local media.
“The father had taken the child to the pool. They were not expecting to swim, they were just going to sit by the pool, and that was confirm by what we found at the scene, and unquestionably what they were wearing. They were not wearing swim clothing,” said nearby police chief David Malloy,
He said the young man, Ananth, fell into the pool while riding his tricycle. The father hopped into to rescue his child and drowned. There was no lifeguard, and they were not experienced swimmers.
The family’s companion and Infosys representatives in Michigan are attempting to assist by crowd-funding so that the bodies can be sent home. Donations can be made here.
