Indira Bishnoi Accused In Bhanwari Devi Murder Case Arrested from Madhya Pradesh


Indira Bishnoi, a co-blamed in the abduction and murder for Bhanwari Devi, has been captured in Madhya Pradesh’s Dewas by a Rajasthan Anti-terrorism Squad (ATS) group. As indicated by starting reports, Ms Bishnoi, sister of previous Congress MLA Malkhan Singh Bishnoi, was remaining at a shelter along the Narmada river and conveyed a reward of Rs. 5 lakh on her head.

She will be given over to the CBI today in Jodhpur.

Bhanwari Devi, a trained midwife and nurse, was snatched from Jodhpur’s Bilara zone on September 1, 2011 and killed. Her body was given over to another posse which burnt and dumped it in a waterway. The remaining parts of her body were found by the CBI four months after the fact. Sixteen denounced, including a previous minister and a lawmaker, are in jail.
